What was the highlight of Grand Hotel Aminta
Enjoyable stay
Beautiful property high on the hill overlooking Sorrento. A free shuttle bus is provided to get down into town and back again. Had excellent meals in a large restaurant and very nice bar area. Due to being winter, we did not get to use the pool but it looked stunning. Staff polite and very helpful.

Exceptional
- Frequent and reliable transportation between the hotel and the Piazza Antiche Mura square in Sorrento. - There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. We used it when returning from the Amalfi coast on a Sita bus. (We probably could have stopped the bus on our way to the Amalfi coast had we bought the bus tickets beforehand.) - Excellent service in the hotel restaurant.
- The toilet in the room had a weak flush and the water thank filled up slowly for flushing the toilet again.

The location away from the center of Sorrento, the amazing views from the high elevation of the hotel, the helpful receptionist, the excellent restaurant and server staff, the fantastic bar with knowledgeable, friendly bartenders, the ambience of the large bar lounge with panoramic views of the Sorrento Coast and the frequent (free) hotel shuttle bus to the center of Sorrento.
